Arwen is extremely independent and our little firecracker. Out of all our dogs, she is the one we want leading our recreational team. She is very single-minded when she wants to do something. She can also be very sweet and affectionate; but only on her terms. Arwen loves the water and enjoys swimming in lakes and ponds. Before we knew how much Arwen loved water, we went for a walk around a pond after we had finished showing for the day. Arwen was on a flexi-lead and suddenly she eyed the large pond and quick as a wink she leaped off the path and into the water and began to swim around in it. We quickly towed her out before we could get in trouble. From that moment on we knew she loved to swim. We guess it runs in the family because her brother, Sterling, is just like her and enjoys getting wet by standing over the sprinkler.
